Enchantment Description
by syxtar
Enchantment Description shows a short explanation under each enchantment on items, enchanted books, anvils and grindstones, and it runs on the server alone.
What it does
Enchantment Description adds short enchantment explanations to item tooltips. Each enchantment appears with its name and level, and its description lines sit directly underneath. Items carrying several enchantments, including enchanted books, list every entry in this way, and results update automatically when items are combined on an anvil or processed on a grindstone.
The explanations are read from a configuration file, so server owners can edit the wording. Tooltips are sent through item components, which lets players see the text without installing anything on their own side. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with the latest build 1.0.0 for 1.21.11, dated 2026-02-25. The builds cover 1.21 – 1.21.11 across twelve release versions. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
