OME Tweaks
by tttsaurus
OME Tweaks is a Forge utility for 1.12.2 that adds a set of configurable quality-of-life changes to other mods, mainly Industrial Foregoing and JEI.
What it does
Its aim is to collect many small configurable adjustments to other mods in one place, so a pack maker can change them without editing each mod's own files. Tweaks cover Industrial Foregoing, where a harvest level blacklist can be set for the infinity drill, and the petrified fuel generator, whose settings can be changed. Custom fuels can be added, and existing fuels can be adjusted for that generator.
On the interface side, the mod can change JEI category icons and offers an optional overhaul of JEI pages. Another option disables the effects that fluid potions would otherwise apply. The mod is built with GregTechCEu's buildscripts. MixinBooter is required, and it must be installed next to OME Tweaks. The mod runs on client and server, so both sides need it. It is published for Forge only, and the 1.12.2 line is the only game version listed. The latest file is 1.5.5 for 1.12.2, released on 2025-09-03. The code is under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker.
Key features
Industrial Foregoing drill blacklist
A harvest level blacklist can be set for Industrial Foregoing's infinity drill, limiting which blocks the drill can harvest.
Configurable fuel generator
The petrified fuel generator exposes more settings, and custom fuels can be added to it or existing fuels tweaked.
JEI icon and page changes
JEI category icons can be modified, and an optional overhaul of JEI pages changes how recipe pages are laid out.
Fluid potion effects toggle
An option turns off the effects that fluid potions apply, so those effects stop occurring in the world.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Pack makers and server owners running 1.12.2 modpacks with Industrial Foregoing or JEI who want to change those mods' behavior without editing their files.
How it compares
MTEEnoughItems is a Forge mod for 1.12.2 that is client-side only and released under the MIT License, so it needs no server install. Precision Mining is a Forge mod for 1.20.1, client-side only, open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and does not cover the 1.12.2 line. Omni Upgrades runs on Forge and NeoForge for 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, is client and server, and is not open source under All rights reserved, so it sits on a different version range entirely.
