OldGL lets older GPUs such as Intel HD 3000 run Minecraft 1.17 and later on Windows without software rendering.

What it does

The mod is aimed at systems with OpenGL 3.0 or 3.1 hardware, including Sandy Bridge machines, that cannot start recent builds through normal rendering. It is a workaround described by its author as hacky, and it works by changing how the game reaches the graphics driver. Only the client needs it, so servers and other players can run without it. Files exist for Fabric 1.17 – 1.21.4, and the latest file, 0.3.1, targets 1.21.4. The code is open source under the CC0 1.0 Universal license. The mod is incompatible with Sodium.

THIS IS NOT AN OPTIMIZATION MOD! IT ONLY EXISTS TO MAKE THE GAME ABLE TO LAUNCH! This should work with most mods, but if they use OGL 3.2+ functions (ex.
