Odyssey Sniffer extends the Sniffer mob so that it digs up items tied to the blocks it walks over, and it adds a set of Sniffer Pants that speed the wearer up in certain plants.
What it does
When a Sniffer walks over blocks, it can dig up items linked to those blocks, which gives the mob a role beyond the vanilla brushing mechanic. Sniffers that have been sheared produce Sniffer Fur, which is used in an alternate brush recipe and in the new Sniffer Pants. The pants provide a substantial speed boost while walking through certain plants, and the list of plants can be changed with a datapack that edits the minecraft:flowers and odyssey sniffer:sniffer_pants swiftness tags.
The mod is built with MCreator and supports Forge and NeoForge across five game versions: 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.2 and 1.21.3. Forge and NeoForge both reach 2.0.0 as the latest file, and the 1.19.2 build requires another mod that adds the Sniffer. Odyssey Sniffer runs on the client and the server, so both need it. It is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.
