Obtainable End makes End portals craftable in survival, so players can build the End Portal Frame pieces that open the way to the End.
What it does
Recipes for the End Portal Frame pieces need a Nether Star and End Stone, which turns the End portal from a fixed world feature into something a survival player can assemble. The mod is simple and balanced, aiming to keep the crafting cost meaningful rather than trivial.
Players can break End Portal Frame pieces slowly, the way Obsidian is broken, and breaking a piece also removes the associated End Portal blocks. Placement is eased by correcting the frame's orientation automatically, and a global sound can announce when a new frame is completed. Each of these behaviors can be configured, including whether frame pieces are breakable by the Wither.
Installation needs Cloth Config API. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Builds are published for Fabric and Quilt across 24 release versions, 1.18.2 – 26.2, under the MIT License, and the code is open source.
