No Hurt Animation

No Hurt Animation removes the red flash and camera shake that Minecraft plays when the player takes damage, for players who find it uncomfortable.

What it does

The mod turns off the hurt animation, the visual effect that plays whenever the player takes damage. The author notes that the effect can trigger motion sickness or similar discomfort for some players, particularly while standing in lava or on fire. Installing the mod removes the animation without changing gameplay.
