Nightmares.jar
Nightmares.jar is a Forge horror mod for 1.20.1 that adds two enemies, Him and Nightmare, along with four new dimensions that players reach by sleeping.
What it does
Him and Nightmare are the two entities in the mod. Him appears in the overworld during later phases, while in earlier phases he only shows up inside one of the four dimensions. Nightmare spawns in the overworld and can send a player to a different dimension.
Dimensions are entered through sleeping, and more dimensions open as a player progresses further. If Him appears in a dimension, he sends the player back to the overworld, to the place where the player last slept. The mod is built around surprise and is intended for solo play, with spoilers for its contents kept out of the description.
Installation needs Forge for 1.20.1 and Geckolib, which must be installed alongside Nightmares.jar. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for Forge 1.20.1 only, and the code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
