Net Music: Better Experience

by NotEnoughNetMusic

Net Music: Better Experience adds a portable Net Music Player item that holds a playlist and plays songs one after another, and it extends the Net Music mod it requires.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverCustom license1.20.1 – 26.1.2

What it does

Playlist items act like music discs: they can be placed in a CD burner to be burned, and they play in jukeboxes. Clicking the Net Music Player opens a playlist screen where the player arranges songs and starts them directly, so personal music can follow the player around without a fixed jukebox.

Installation needs Net Music and Cloth Config API on every loader. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with builds for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 and the 26.1.2 range in the catalog data. The code is under a custom license and is not open source; public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker.

Key features

  3. Disc-like playlist items

Playlist items behave like music discs in jukeboxes and can be burned onto a CD through a CD burner.

Does a server need Net Music: Better Experience installed?

Yes. Servers that run it need every player to install it too.

Which versions does Net Music: Better Experience cover?
