Neo Bee Fix corrects a set of bee behaviors in Minecraft, covering hive exits, falling, wandering direction, death animation and turtle eggs.

What it does

The mod targets five reported bee bugs: bees refusing to leave a hive when in the End or Nether, bees falling while not pathfinding, a northwest bias in bee wandering, a death animation that turns bees only 90 degrees where other arthropods turn 180, and bees, ghasts and phantoms destroying turtle eggs, of which only the bee case is addressed. Each fix changes how the bee entity behaves in that situation and leaves the rest of the game alone.

Neo Bee Fix is published for Fabric and NeoForge across eight game versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. The code is under the MIT License and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker. Fabric and NeoForge builds are both at 5.0.0 for 26.3, released 2026-09-17.
