With NBTtooltips, hovering over an item and holding a key reveals its custom NBT data as a tooltip.
What it does
Items often carry NBT data that the default tooltip does not show. This Fabric utility reads that data and displays it when the player hovers over an item and holds a configurable key, which is left Alt by default. The mod is client-side only, so only the player's game needs it; servers run without it. It is published for Fabric only, across 14 release versions, and the code is under the MIT License, so the mod is open source.
