Music Interface
by LevelsFR
With Music Interface installed, players browse a custom music library, build playlists and a playback queue, and let the in-game player choose tracks by world context.
What it does
Music Interface adds a modern in-game music player with playlists, favorites and album covers. Tracks, albums and artists can be looked up, shown in grid or list layouts, and played with full controls. Playlists can be reordered, shuffled and saved, and a persistent queue lets a player place tracks in a play order with Play Next or drag them into place.
The mod also reads the world. Music packs can respond to the surrounding dimension, the biome, its tags, the clock, the weather and combat, so tracks change as the surroundings change. Track Radio starts an ongoing session around one song, and dynamic mixes built from the current context can include repeats and rediscovered music. A listening profile records plays, skips, replays and listening time across artists, albums and packs.
Music comes from standard Minecraft resource packs, and several packs enabled at once are merged following the priority Minecraft assigns them. A generator that writes a starting template helps build new packs. Music Interface also controls how the vanilla music system coexists with custom tracks, including delays, crossfades, menu music and visibility settings. The mod is client-side only and is published for Fabric and NeoForge across 9 release versions, 1.21.1 – 26.3, under All rights reserved.
