Motball Craft is a Forge world generation mod for 1.20.1 that adds three dimensions, a friendly square creature, and a boss fight against the Gastonball.
What it does
Players find the mod's content through structures and ores. A crashed structure in the world holds Mot Food and Mot blocks for making more of it, and some structures contain blocks that build portals. Portal Ore is mined underground, in caves, and its drops are refined into Portal Ingots that light the portals instead of traditional igniters. Each Portal Ore type leads to a different dimension. One of them holds the arena for the Gastonball boss, and the structure that spawns it is found there.
The creature is tamed with Mot Food, which grows on Mot trees. A tamed Motball can assist the player in fights, and a smaller Motball with spider legs is also part of the mod. The Gastonball, the main boss, punches and slams, and its jumping slam can kill a player in one hit. After four slams its minions spawn, and a normal shield does not hold against the jump slams or some minion attacks.
The mod is Client and server, so the server and every player need it. It requires Geckolib. Files are published for Forge 1.20.1 only, with 1.09.3 as the latest file from 2026-10-10. The mod is All rights reserved and is not open source.

Tameable Motball
The friendly square creature is tamed with Mot Food from Mot trees and can assist in battle.
Gastonball boss fight
The Gastonball punches, slams and jumps, and its minions spawn after four slams. Its attacks need careful dodging.
Mot Sword
A sword found while exploring the new dimensions. It is strong early on, useful for farming and dealing damage to the boss.
