MoreChatHistoryNeoForge raises the chat history limit on NeoForge, keeping far more messages than the default one hundred.
What it does
The original chat history keeps only the most recent 100 messages, so important lines can disappear during mini-games or after a stretch away from the keyboard. This NeoForge build for 1.21 raises that limit to 16384 messages, and the value can be changed in the configuration file.
Retaining historical chat records is a separate option that the configuration file turns on by default and can switch off. The mod is an unofficial remaster of More Chat History, and its source code is public under the MIT License, so the code is open source. Because it runs on the client only, servers and other players do not need it installed.
