More Sulfur extends the sulfur cube mob with extra blocks that cubes can absorb and light blocks that work as sources of light.

What it does

The mod adds a larger set of blocks that a sulfur cube can absorb, along with a number of full light blocks and absorbable blocks that carry functions of their own. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 26.2 and 26.3, and snapshot builds are available too. Server owners install the mod on the server, and players can join without it, since the client is optional.

Both the Fabric and Forge builds reached 1.5.1 for 26.3 on 2026-09-16. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is not open source. It has no required dependencies.

Key features

  1. Absorbable blocks

    Many more blocks can be taken in by a sulfur cube, so the mob has more to interact with in the world.

  2. Full light blocks

    A set of full light blocks is added as placeable sources of light for building and decoration.

  3. Blocks with functions

    Some absorbable blocks keep a function once a cube has taken them, extending what the mob can carry.
