More Metals is a Forge and NeoForge addition that brings a set of new metal ores, ingots and the armor, tools and weapons crafted from them.

What it does

Tin, Platinum, Titanium, Rose Gold and Endersteel are among the new metals, and the mod adds Endersteel, which is found in the End dimension. Gems and minerals such as Ruby, Amethyst and Lapis Lazuli also get their own material sets. Each material gives armor, tools and weapons, and the mod describes Megatite as the strongest material in the game.

The metal sets are described as having varied durability and some special abilities. Amethyst is noted for high power alongside low durability, while Tin blocks cannot be used for crafting armor or weapons. Both sides need the mod for the new items to load, and the code is not open source, since the license is MIT License. Files exist for 1.20.1 and 1.20.4, with the latest Forge build at 1.0.2 and the latest NeoForge build at 1.0.4.
