More Anvil Recipes adds crafting recipes for chipped and damaged anvils, and a way to repair them with iron ingots.

What it does

Chipped and damaged anvils become craftable through recipes the mod supplies, so a player does not need to find them in the world. Iron ingots can then be used to repair a chipped anvil back into an intact one, and a damaged anvil can be repaired in the same way.

The mod is a server-required addition: a server running it provides the recipes, and players who join without it can still craft and use them. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the 1.0+mod builds target game versions 1.13 – 26.2. The code is released under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source. An issue tracker is linked from the project page.

  1. Chipped anvil crafting

    Chipped anvils can be crafted from recipes the mod adds, rather than found only as loot or in the world.

  2. Damaged anvil crafting

    Damaged anvils are also craftable, giving a second anvil stage to build toward.

  3. Iron ingot repair

    Iron ingots are used to repair chipped and damaged anvils back toward a usable state.

  4. Repaired anvil output

    Repairing a chipped or damaged anvil produces a repaired anvil, which can be used in the same way as any other anvil.
