Money for Everyone

by TheJoJoni

Money for Everyone adds a coin-based money system to Forge and NeoForge, with coins in several tiers, a briefcase for carrying them, and an ATM.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverMIT License1.16.5 – 1.21.4

What it does

Coins are crafted in tiers, from a basic metal coin up to a nether star coin. Players craft a coin base from a crafting table, then combine nine coins into a higher tier. Recipes are simple, and smelting a coin in a blast furnace refunds part of its material. The briefcase stores coins, and the ATM handles them as a banking block. A coin refunding system is included.

The mod is meant for multiplayer survival worlds, where a shared trade economy can develop around the coins. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across six game versions, 1.16.5 – 1.21.4, under the MIT License, and the code is not open source. Latest files are 3.2.0 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 3.2.0 for 1.21.4 on NeoForge, both dated 2025-05-04.

Key features

  1. Tiered coin system

Coins range from a basic metal tier to a nether star tier, with each tier crafted from nine coins of the tier below.

  2. Briefcase storage

A briefcase holds coins so players can carry a stock of money without filling their inventory.

  3. ATM block

An ATM machine is placed in the world and handles the coin balance, with recipes that use concrete and circuit boards.

  4. Coin refunding

Blasting a coin in a blast furnace returns part of its material, and a refund system covers older coin items.
