Mods in a Jar

by zetabite

Mods in a Jar is a Quilt food mod that adds cookies, a cookie jar and a mud-block cookie recipe, and each cookie grants a random effect.

QuiltClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.2

What it does

The mod adds cookies that players can craft by surrounding a mud block with eight cookies. Cookies from the mod are stored in a cookie jar. A dispenser fed a cookie applies a random effect drawn from a pool of mod IDs, so the result depends on which mods are installed.

Mods in a Jar requires Quilted Fabric API (QFAPI) and Quilt Standard Libraries (QSL) on Quilt. Both sides need it, so the server and every player run the mod. The code is open source under the MIT License, and files exist for 1.19.2 only, with 1.0.3 as the latest Quilt file from 2022-08-27.

Key features

  1. Mod cookies

Cookies from installed mods can be eaten, and each one can give a random effect.

  2. Mud block recipe

A mod cookie is crafted by placing eight cookies around a mud block.

  3. Cookie jar storage

A cookie jar keeps mod cookies together so they can be stored and reached in one place.
