MineRaft
With MineRaft, a survival world takes on the feel of the game Raft, using a data pack that adds new mechanics, blocks, structures and mobs.
What it does
MineRaft is a data pack that overhauls the survival experience after the Raft game. Players start on floating flotsam, collect junk, craft with it and build outward. Large structures such as foundations, smelteries and collection nets can be placed on a grid-like building style, and a builder's hammer tears them down again. Drifting flotsam is found on the water, where a fishing rod can bring it up.
Steve, a friendly shark-like companion, circles the raft now and then and scoots off with a snack. Decorative content adds hearts and extra pieces to the build. The data pack needs a matching resource pack, so both must be installed. Once installed on the server, they apply to players as they join, and each player still needs to install the pack.
Installation uses the Required Resource Pack and the data pack on a single world. A world is created with the data pack enabled, or the pack is copied into an existing world's datapacks folder. MineRaft runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and builds cover 1.21.4 – 1.21.5 with the latest beta file for 1.21.5, released under a custom license that is not open source.
