Milkman's Nukes
by Its_Milkman
Milkman's Nukes adds explosive bombs and a set of nukes, built with a core and crafted through a GUI, for Forge on 1.20.1.
What it does
Bombs blow up blocks in an area, and the mod supplies three nukes and three bombs at its base level. A nuke is assembled around a nuke core, so the core's strength sets how strong the finished nukes are. The OG nuke sits at the middle of the set, a stronger version is built from a stronger core, and a less strong Fat Man variant sits below it.
Pipe bombs run on a timer and are set through a GUI opened by right-clicking. A player places the cords where a bomb should go and presses the bomb button, which lets several bombs detonate together. The mod suggests JEI as a way to look up the recipes. Because the environment is client and server, the server and every player need the mod installed.
The mod is published for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1 only, as a single release dated 2024-02-29. It is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is not open source. Its listed public link is an issue tracker.

How it compares
Nuke Mod is Forge-only for 1.20.1, client and server, and released under All rights reserved. Myriom's Nukes is also Forge-only for 1.20.1 with the same environment and license. Nuclear Bombs covers 1.18.2 – 1.20.1 on Forge, while MCNukes also supports NeoForge on 1.20.1, and all five are client and server and not open source. Milkman's Nukes is GNU General Public License v3.0 only, so its license differs from these.

What the author says
The nuke core is used for the middle of the nuke. Because every good nuke needs a core. A more powerful core for more powerful nukes.
