Megane: Fabric
Megane: Fabric is a server-side WTHIT plugin set that adds tooltip lines for storage, machines and mobs from other mods.
What it does
Megane adds extra information to the WTHIT tooltip, so a player looking at a block sees details such as stored contents, machine progress or mob data. Each plugin only activates when its target mod is present.
The mod needs WTHIT to run, which is the required dependency that provides the tooltip itself. Megane works on a server alone, so clients need nothing extra to see the server's data, and the environment is server-side only. Builds exist for Fabric on 1.18.2, 1.19, 1.19.1, 1.19.2, 1.19.3 and 1.20.1, with 20.1.2 for 1.20.1 as the latest file, published 2024-12-18. The code is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source, and the project keeps a public issue tracker.
The mod was first published on 2021-01-24 and last updated on 2024-12-18. Its files cover six game versions, 1.18.2 – 1.20.1, and only the Fabric loader is supported.
