Blast Plaster
by tgstyle
Blast Plaster rebuilds terrain that Creeper explosions have destroyed, restoring blocks, trees and multi-block structures after a blast.
What it does
After an explosion, the mod can heal the damaged blocks back to their original state, or let the debris fly out and drop as items, or remove the blocks with no drops at all. Healing runs layer by layer, so the world quietly puts itself back together while rubble flies and then stays gone. Chests and other containers return with their contents intact, and multi-block builds such as doors, beds and tall plants are rebuilt in the right order.
Trees are restored as whole branches and canopy, including trees from Dynamic Trees, and vegetation such as vines, cocoa, sugar cane and huge mushrooms comes back as well. Unfinished repairs are saved to disk, so restoration continues after the server is stopped and started again.
Blast Plaster runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. Optional support exists for Alex's Caves, Dynamic Trees and Explosion Overhaul: A new level of destruction, and Resource Data Pack Loader requires it. The code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and the mod is open source.
Key features
Heal, eject or toss
Each blast can be set to heal the blocks in place, eject them as drops at roughly a third of vanilla rates, or make them vanish with no drops.
Tree and vegetation restoration
Whole trees with branches and canopy are put back, along with vines, cocoa, sugar cane and huge mushrooms.
Multi-block and container repair
Doors, beds and tall plants are rebuilt in order, and chests come back with their contents intact.
Repairs survive restarts
Unfinished repairs are saved, so restoration resumes after the server is stopped and started again.

What the author says
Make it like it never happened — tame those Blasters with Plaster! Explosions still go off exactly as they should. Blast Plaster just decides what happens next: the world quietly puts itself back together, or the rubble flies and stays gone. Think CreeperHeal, with a lot more control.
