MCGun

Players craft the Normal Gun and the Creative Gun, along with matching ammunition items. Bullet Heads and Bullet Casings are used to craft standard bullets. Holding right-click fires either weapon, and the guns stay on full auto while the button is held. Mobs in the dimension include humanoid Gun Animals, which spawn only in Gun Core Verse. They wear Core Armer armor, carry rare items and attack with Normal Guns. Some can be tamed and ridden, and defeated ones drop Gun Animal Souls. A boss can be summoned with a Gun Boss Spawn Egg. A custom villager profession is assigned with the Gun Use Block, and two advancements are added.

The mod generates a separate dimension called Gun Core Verse, filled with generated structures. A portal frame built from Gun Core Blocks and lit with a Portal Igniter opens the way there. Ore of the Gun Core type is rare: no more than a single deposit appears in each chunk, and a Diamond Pickaxe is required to extract it once located.

The mod is client required and server optional, and it is published for NeoForge 1.21.8 only, under a Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 license that is not open source. Its first file dates from 2026-04-25 and the latest one, 1.1.0, from 2026-06-07. An issue tracker is linked from its public pages.
