What it does

The mod adds several extra advancements, each a new objective a player can complete in survival. They are meant to give the game more challenges and adventures to work through, and they sit alongside the advancements already in vanilla Minecraft.

Installation is a standard drop-in: place the file in the mods folder of a Fabric or Forge install for 1.20.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The package is published under All rights reserved. Builds are dated 2023-12-13 at first release and 2024-02-24 for the latest files, 1.2.1 on both loaders.

Key features

  1. Extra advancement goals

Several new advancements add objectives that the vanilla advancement tree does not include.

  2. New challenges

The added goals ask players to try new tasks and adventures beyond the default progression.

  3. Vanilla gap filling

The advancements target areas the author saw as unfinished in the base game's achievement set.

  4. Fabric and Forge builds

The same content is offered on both loaders, each with a matching 1.2.1 file for 1.20.1.

Use cases

Long survival worlds

Players who have already finished the vanilla advancements can use the extra goals as a next step in the same save.

Multiplayer servers

Server owners install the mod on the server and every client, so all players track the same added advancements.

Who it’s for: Players who want more advancement goals in survival, and server owners who run a 1.20.1 Fabric or Forge server and want the same list for every player.
