Maxwell the placeable cat adds a Maxwell cat block and other cats that players can place, pick up and carry.
What it does
Players place the Maxwell cat as a block and can pick it up again to carry it around. Other cat variants join the same way, and the model of the cat comes from a Dingus/Maxwell cat design by the bean team. The mod is a joke project made out of boredom, and it works as a decoration and a novelty for survival worlds and creative builds alike.
The mod needs Architectury API on every loader, which must be installed next to it. The server and every player need the mod installed. Builds cover 1.16.5 – 26.2 across Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the code is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, so the mod is not open source. Special Model Loader is bundled inside the mod.
