ManualTotem

by 403_Forbidden

ManualTotem is a Fabric client mod that moves a totem into the off-hand from the inventory on demand, so players can replace a popped totem by hand.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21 – 26.1.2

What it does

When the mod is active, the cursor is moved onto a totem in the open inventory, so a single key press places one in the off-hand. Pressing E opens the inventory as usual, and the + key switches the feature on or off. Players who want to place totems manually, without an automatic totem swap, use it in place of auto-totem mods, which some servers treat as cheating.

The mod is aimed at crystal PvP, where a popped totem has to be replaced quickly and every second counts. Only the client needs it, so a player can join a server without installing anything on the server side. ManualTotem is for Fabric only, with files for 1.21 – 26.1.2 across 14 release versions. The latest file is 2.0.0 for 26.1.2, published on 2026-04-13, and the code is all rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Cursor moves to a totem

With the mod enabled, the cursor is placed on an available totem in the open inventory, ready for one click.

  2. Toggle with the + key

Pressing the + key turns the feature on or off, so it can stay out of the way outside of PvP.

  3. Manual placement only

Totems are moved by the player's own input, without automatic swapping, which is the point of the mod.

  4. Inventory access with E

The standard E key still opens the inventory, and the totem helper works from that screen.

Use cases

Crystal PvP

Replacing a popped totem quickly during crystal fights, where the cursor placement saves time.

Servers with strict rules

Players on servers that forbid automatic totem mods can still place totems themselves with a single key.

Who it’s for: Players who fight in PvP and want faster manual totem replacement, and players whose server rules restrict automatic totem mods.
