MaLiBind lets players manage vanilla Minecraft keybinds through MaLiLib, grouping related hotkeys together so the controls stay tidy.

FabricClient-side onlyApache License 2.0Open source1.21 – 1.21.10

What it does

Keybinds are sorted into organized groups, so hotkeys that belong together sit together in the settings. Triggers can be configured so that one key press activates a binding, and the vanilla controls keep their familiar behaviour. The mod changes very little of the game: it relies on a small accessor mixin only where it is needed.

MaLiBind is built on MaLiLib and needs Fabric Language Kotlin to run. It works with the Fabric Loader and, optionally, with Mod Menu. It is a client-side only mod, so only the player's client needs it and servers run without it. The code is open source under the Apache License 2.0, and the 2.0.1-beta file for 1.21.10 was published on 2025-10-13.

Key features

  1. Grouped keybinds

Vanilla keybinds are arranged in groups, so related hotkeys can be found and adjusted in one place.

  2. Configurable triggers

Each binding can be set to fire on a single key press, with trigger settings adjustable per binding.

  3. Minimal changes to the game

The mod makes few invasive changes and keeps the original controls and their feel intact.

  4. Extensible code base

The source is published, so developers can read it and build their own variant.

Use cases

Tidying a crowded control set

Players who have many mods with hotkeys can collect related bindings into groups to keep the settings menu manageable.

Changing trigger behaviour

Players who want a binding to respond to one press rather than a held combination can set the trigger behaviour for that key.

Who it’s for: Players who use MaLiLib-based mods and want a clearer keybind menu. The mod is for the client; a single-player or multiplayer client can run it alone.
