Make Diamonds Rare Again (Rarer Diamonds)
Make Diamonds Rare Again lowers how often diamond ore generates in the world, while keeping each vein the same size.
What it does
The mod changes ore generation so that diamond ore appears less often in newly generated terrain. Only the rarity is adjusted; vein size is left as it is. The rarity and related settings can be configured. It is required on the server and optional for players. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a data pack, for 1.21.11 and 26.1, under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license, which is not open source.

Diamond ore generates less often than in vanilla, so finding diamonds takes more digging.
Unchanged vein size
Diamond veins keep their usual size, and only the frequency of generation is reduced.

Rarity and vein settings can be adjusted to tune how scarce diamonds become.
