Magnum Opus

The quest begins at a hidden laboratory reached through a ladder-access hole found in the first Temple village with a brewing stand, and the entrance is concealed under a carpet. Players collect materials such as Raw Iron, Amethyst Shard, Clay Ball, Mandrake Root from Swamp Hut chests, Glow Ink Sac and Nautilus Shell, plus a Heart Sea, to prepare the four classical elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. Each essence is made through a different process, from grinding with a Pestle and covering a cauldron to heating materials over a campfire or lava, and letting lightning strike them.

Once all four essences are dropped onto the altars in the laboratory and the Dragon Egg is placed in the center, the ritual starts. It makes the Elixir of Life from a Glass Bottle and the Philosopher's Stone the ritual creates, which makes the drinker immortal for two minutes and can be repeated at a cost of ten experience levels each time.

Magnum Opus is server required and client optional, so the server must run it while players may leave it out. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and also as a data pack, all for 26.2. The mod is open source under the MIT License.
