Magic Brooms
Magic Brooms, by IcedFoxStudios, adds fourteen rideable broomsticks split between seven families, with a standard and an upgraded model for each, built around flight and magic.
What it does
Brooms in the mod are rideable and follow controlled momentum for ascent, descent and steering, with banking animations and visual feedback during flight. Flying is meant to feel like riding a real broom rather than using Creative Mode flight. Brooms are assembled physically at a Broom Assembly Bench: wood is added, hay is attached, a magical catalyst infuses the frame, and an upgrade can be installed as an optional step. The finished broom appears on the bench and floats toward the player once complete.
The mod pairs its flight with survival progression. Six magical families each carry a scroll ability with their own particles, sounds and style of play, covering fire, ice, lightning, Ender, grove and tide. Scrolls are crafted, upgrades are installed, and broom racks display a collection. Geckolib is required, and the mod runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across twelve release versions, 1.12.2 – 26.2, and the code is not open source, released under All rights reserved.
