Lionfish-API

by mcl_ender

Lionfish-API is a lightweight animation library by mcl_ender that L Ender's mods use as their base.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverGNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

The library provides an animation system for mods built on L Ender's Cataclysm. The author describes it as a trimmed-down successor to earlier animation code from older libraries, with fewer miscellaneous functions. Five catalog mods require it, including L_Ender's Cataclysm and Goety Cataclysm. Files exist for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.

Key features

  1. Animation base layer

Supplies the animation functions that other L Ender's mods call instead of bundling their own.

  2. Reduced footprint

Drops the broader helper set of the earlier animation library, which the author found made it heavy.

  3. Forge and NeoForge builds

Versions 3.0 for 1.20.1 and 3.1 for 1.21.1 are published for both loaders.
