Liby
by Nico_44
Liby is a Fabric library mod that other developers can use as a required dependency when building their own content for Minecraft Java Edition.
What it does
Liby is a utility library rather than a gameplay mod. Its code is meant for mod authors who want to build content on top of it, and players do not interact with it directly. Two catalog mods, Tree Bark+ and Titanomachy, list it as a required dependency, so anyone installing them also needs Liby.
The library is published for Fabric only, with files for 1.19.2, 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. The most recent file is 3.0.0.0-1.20.1 for 1.20.1, released 2025-10-18 on the alpha channel. The code is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, and the source code, issue tracker and wiki are all public. The wiki has a full breakdown of the library's features and setup steps.
Liby runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it when a dependent mod is installed. Files for 1.19.2 – 1.21.1 are listed under the 3 release versions shown on the page, and major version changes can break dependent mods that target an older release.
Key features
Registration MultiBlock library
The library provides a registration system for multiblock structures, so developers can declare them in code instead of wiring each one by hand.
Shared base for other mods
Liby is built for utility developers who add their own content, and it supplies common code they can reuse across projects.
Version-specific builds
Separate files are kept for each supported Minecraft release, so a dependent mod can pin the build that matches its target game version.
Public source and wiki
Source code, the issue tracker and a wiki are all public, and the wiki walks through the library in detail.

Who it’s for: Mod developers who want a shared library for registering multiblock content in their own Fabric mods. Players who install Tree Bark+ or Titanomachy also need this library.

What the author says
This mod serves as a utility for developers and does not add any content on its own. It is a required dependency for other mods. Major version changes like 1.0 to 2.0 will break most mods using the older version, wait for an update from their mod author.
