On Legacy Edition Minigames servers the mod changes how resource packs are handled and how the interface looks. Packs can be preloaded from the mod's configuration page, and preloading keeps running in the background after the configuration menu is closed, so play is not interrupted. A notification appears in the game once a pack has finished preloading. The cache limit can be raised to handle a large number of resource packs used on the server.

The mod also lets a player set several Legacy Edition Minigames server options on the client, overriding what the server sets. A value of 0 leaves the server setting in place. This is useful for people who play on several devices with different display sizes. By default the changes apply only to the Legacy Edition Minigames servers and leave singleplayer and other servers alone, and the options can be adjusted through Mod Menu. Minecraft 1.20.4 is supported, and the Fabric build is the only loader available. Client-side only, the mod needs installing on the player's side alone. The code is covered by a custom license and is not open source.
