Lazy QR Codes
by tolektpr
Lazy QR Codes lets a server place a QR code block at a chosen location in the world, with the code generated for the player at the front left of the block.
What it does
The mod is a lightweight server-side QR code generator. A command places the code at a specified location, which means the blocks already there are replaced by the code. Players who require operator permission to run commands can use it, and the mod includes a help command for the QR code type. It runs on the server alone, so players join without installing anything. Files are released under CC0 1.0 Universal and the source code is public. Builds target Fabric for 1.21.4 only, with version 1.1.0 as the latest file from 2025-02-26.
Key features
Placed QR codes
A QR code is put at a specified location, replacing the blocks that occupy that spot.
Generated for the player
The code is generated facing the player standing at the front left of the block, so it reads correctly for them.
Automatic sizing
The size of the code is set by the mod, so the command does not take a size argument.
