With laowu meme installed, two cats that meet near each other lock eyes and bump heads, and the pair can be broken up with a right-click.
What it does
The mod is a silly meme mod about cats. A cat named Laowu that gets close to another cat makes them face each other, lock eyes and bump heads. The pair then shows mirrored head-tilts and arched-back hissing poses, the cats grow bigger, and a randomly chosen background track starts playing audibly within 16 blocks. Right-clicking either cat breaks the pair up, and they walk away naturally. A broken-up pair does not retrigger for 3 minutes.
Other parts of the mod change how cats look and behave. A cat named Milkcat gets a yellow cartoon skin, and the colors apply to adults only. Hitting a cat with a shovel flattens its body and splays its legs, then it pops back after 8 seconds, which also cancels any active head-bump pairing. A cat named Maodie within 10 blocks can be teleported by the server once a wall of wood-type blocks is built around a stair top, and it then sits with its AI frozen. The server is authoritative, so a player sees the same thing in singleplayer and on a multiplayer server.
Installation requires Mod Menu. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. It is published for Fabric and NeoForge across five release versions, 1.21 – 26.2, and is open source under the MIT License.
