Knighy's Mystical Creatures adds a large set of new mobs, bosses, items and world features to Forge 1.20.1, with creatures that roam in packs and tend their territory.

What it does

The mod is mainly about mobs and bosses, and it also adds items and areas to explore. Some creatures spawn in dark places, others travel in packs through high areas and defend territory, and a few are immune to lightning. Several mobs are paired with a companion creature, such as a spook that channels lightning or a plant-based partner.

Geckolib is required, and the mod will not work without it. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Forge 1.20.1, with 1.6.1 as the latest build, released on 2025-12-26. The mod is licensed as All rights reserved and is not open source. It is listed as compatible with OptiFine.
