KapLib
by Kapitencraft
KapLib is a Forge and NeoForge library that supplies helper classes, new attributes, rarities and GUI tools for other mods to build on.
What it does
KapLib groups several systems a mod developer would otherwise code from scratch, including a text box that spans multiple lines and supports color codes, utility classes that simplify network packets and data serialization, and wrappers for managing attribute modifiers. It also adds new attributes such as crit damage, draw speed, projectile speed and double jump, and new rarity tiers including LEGENDARY, MYTHIC and DIVINE.
Other systems cover requirements that disable item use, dealing damage, blocking or mining, a fishing hook system that works with other liquids, a screen overlay handler with changeable screen locations, and extra command arguments such as equipment slot enums. A customizable particle animation system and a helper for creating new enchantments are included as well. Enchantments+ requires KapLib, so it cannot run without this library installed.
Installation runs on client and server, so the server and every player need the library. Builds exist for Forge and NeoForge across two release versions, 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. Its license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source, though public links exist for the source code and issue tracker.

Use cases
Building a mod on top of it
Mod authors can call its helper classes for networking, serialization and attribute modifiers instead of writing them.
Adding custom enchantments
The enchantment helper and extra command arguments let a mod define and manage enchantments on top of KapLib.
Who it’s for: Mod developers working on Forge or NeoForge, and players who install a mod such as Enchantments+ that needs the library.

What the author says
since version 1.32.0 the project is no longer hosted on modrinth, but instead of the central maven repository for convenience and support reasons. follow the wiki to update the dependency. the published jar files for 1.32.0 and 1.32.1 are no valid mod files and should be ignored. developers should use central maven…
