Jungle Update
by Jaiz
Jungle Update, by Jaiz, adds new jungle features to Fabric worlds: two biomes, a revamped Jungle Temple and a fruit bat mob that leaves a new item.
What it does
The mod adds two new biomes to the jungle family, including a Mahogany Forest with a jungle subbiome that appears near the surface, where houses can generate and a new wood type is found. Fruit Bat Caves sit underground beneath the mahogany forests, and each cave holds a new fruit bat mob.
The Jungle Temples are revamped, with more loot traps and more variations, while the original temples still spawn in the world. Fruit bats that appear in the new biomes sometimes drop Guano after a set time. Guano is a decoration block and a projectile weapon, and it applies a stinky effect that stops nearby mobs with ActiveTargetGoal from pursuing the affected entity.
The mod requires TerraBlender. It is published for Fabric only, with a single build, 1.0.0 for 1.21.1, dated 2024-11-23. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved.
