Just A Lot Of Sodas adds a range of carbonated and flat drinks to Forge 1.20.1, including Coca-Cola, Sprite, Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Cream Soda, Gatorade and Root Beer.
What it does
Drinks are brewed from water bottles, sugar and flavoring items, and the recipes are shaped as bottles rather than shapeless grids, with one exception: the carbonator. Coca-Cola takes a water bottle and two sugar, Sprite needs a flavoring bottle, and Dr Pepper combines two flavorings with two sugar. A flavoring bottle is crafted from an apple, a sugar and two empty bottles. The crafting entries are grouped together on the wiki page of the 1.9.0 release.
A carbonator turns a flat soda into a carbonated one. Flat soda goes in the top-middle slot, the carbonator is crafted from seven iron ingots and a cauldron shape, and pressing its button carbonates the drink. Drinking a carbonated soda gives the Hyper effect, which grants speed 2 and a jump boost. Players who collect the drinks will find a flat version of each one as well. The crafting recipes were revamped in a later update.
Both client and server need the mod, since the drinks are items and recipes that every player uses. The project is published for Forge only, with the latest file, 1.9.0, released 2025-10-03 for 1.20.1. It is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.
