by 16andpregz

What it does

ItemList is a client-side mod for building item lists within the game, which removes the need for a separate multi-display setup when tracking materials. Its material list sync feeds Litematica's material list, and inventory sync keeps the in-game list aligned with what the player carries. Only the client needs the mod, so a server running without it is unaffected.

Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, covering game versions 26.1 – 26.3 across five release versions. The latest builds, 1.7.0 for 26.3, date from 2026-09-19. Fabric API is a required dependency on Fabric. The mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Item list building

Players create item lists inside the game, grouping the items a build needs without an external tool.

  2. Litematica material list sync

The list can be synced into Litematica's material list, so schematic requirements appear alongside the rest of the setup.

  3. Inventory sync

Inventory sync keeps the item list tied to the items the player is carrying.

  4. Multi-loader builds

A single project ships builds for both Fabric and NeoForge, so the same list tool is available on either loader.

Use cases

Schematic building

A player working from a Litematica schematic can read the required materials straight from the synced list.

Survival resource tracking

Inventory sync lets a survival player check the list against what is in their inventory while gathering.

Who it’s for: Players who build from Litematica schematics and want materials tracked inside the game. The mod is client-side only, so players on any server can use it without the server running it.

Questions

Does ItemList need Fabric API?

Yes. Fabric API is a required dependency for the Fabric build. The NeoForge build has no such requirement listed.

Which loader should a modpack use for ItemList?

Pick Fabric or NeoForge, depending on which loader the rest of the modpack runs. Both builds share the same game version range.

Does ItemList have to be installed on the server?

No. Servers do not need it; each player installs it for their own game.
