Item Split Bugfix fixes a stacking problem in which identical items stop merging because of leftover data on them.

What it does

Some items end up with empty tags that stop identical stacks from merging, which leaves inventories cluttered and inconsistent. This mod removes those empty tags so matching items stack again. It is server-side only, so only the server needs to run it. Builds cover 1.18.2 – 1.20.4 for Fabric and Quilt, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
