Item Despawn Timer
by whirlfrenzy
Item Despawn Timer shows a countdown above dropped items so players know when each one will vanish from the world.
What it does
Dropped items normally disappear after a set time, and the timer displays how much of that lifespan remains. Because the countdown is drawn above each item, a player can pick up something before it is removed. The client and server both need the mod, since the server tells clients when an item is about to despawn so their displays stay accurate. Fabric API is required, and builds cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.1 on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge; the mod is released under the MIT License and is open source.

What the author says
Shows a timer above dropped items, letting you know when they're going to despawn. Handy for preventing items from despawning, because you didn't know they're about to despawn. Fabric users: Install Mod Menu to access the config screen (when using v0.2.0 or newer)
