ItemChat lets a player post a held or hovered item into chat with a keybind, showing the item to other players.
What it does
Pressing Shift and T while the cursor hovers over an inventory item sends that item to chat, where other players can view it. The feature is bound to a simple keybind and works in the inventory screen. Builds exist for Forge only, covering 1.16.5 and 1.18.2, with version 2.0 for 1.18.2 as the latest file.
The server and every player need the mod installed. ItemChat brings over a chat feature first built for the standalone Quark mod by Vazkii, and OgelGames carried the 1.18.2 build across. The code carries a custom license and is not open source.
