What it does

Infused Foods lets players infuse food items with potion effects. Infusion happens when a food item is placed in a Potion Cauldron that holds a potion, and the cauldron itself is filled by emptying a potion container into an Empty Cauldron. The mod requires ApexCore, which is bundled inside the mod, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, with Forge builds covering 1.16.5 – 26.3 and the latest Forge file 10.0.0 for 1.20.1, and the license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.

Key features

  1. Potion effect infusion

Edible foods take on a potion effect when they are processed in a cauldron holding the matching potion.

  2. Cleansing with milk buckets

Milk buckets act as a cleansing agent, removing an infusion from food so it can be crafted again.

  3. Hidden effects with spider eyes

Foods crafted with spider eyes keep their potion effect hidden from the tooltip.
