Infinity Item Editor Re
by Seraphina-DC
With Infinity Item Editor Re, a player can open the editor on a held item and change its ID, count, name, lore and NBT while playing.
What it does
Pressing the default U key brings up the editor, which also reaches the hovered slots of the player inventory and the slots inside container screens. A legacy editor layout and a newer sidebar layout can be switched between.
Edited items can be copied as give commands, dropped, saved, or stored in the Infinity Realm and Void inventory sources. A Lore Painter draws colored tooltip art from text characters, and a searchable creative tab set adds special items that normally cannot be obtained. The mod is a port inspired by the older Infinity Item Editor mod, maintained as an independent remake.
Infinity Item Editor Re is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and each jar matches one Minecraft version and loader. Files exist for 1.18.2 – 26.3 across 12 release versions. Some features that write inventory or copy entity equipment need creative mode permissions, so servers normally restrict them under their own rules.
