Image Builder
by C1cDez
Image Builder lets players turn image files into structures built from blocks, using a command to place them.
What it does
The mod makes image files usable inside Minecraft, so a picture on disk can be rendered as blocks in the world. Interaction happens through a command rather than a menu or item. Image Builder is a Forge mod for 1.12.2 only, released under the Apache License 2.0 and open source, with its source code public. It runs on the client or the server, and neither side needs it.
Key features
Image files as blocks
Picture files are converted so that their pixels can be built as blocks in the world.
Command-based use
Building from an image is started with a command, so players and server operators can run it from chat.
Publicly available source
The source code is public, so players can read how the image conversion and block placement work.
