Hungy
by Fulmine
Hungy changes how hunger works in peaceful mode, so food and health keep mattering even when mobs are off.
What it does
Hungy keeps the hunger bar active in peaceful difficulty. Instead of hunger being switched off, the player loses hunger on the usual schedule, and health regeneration from a full food bar is disabled, so healing takes longer. Once the hunger bar runs out, health drops until the health bar is half full, the same rule that applies on the harder settings. Food stays useful and worth eating in peaceful play.
The mod runs on Fabric and Quilt for 1.20.1 and needs both the server and every player to have it installed. It is open source under the MIT License, and its source code and issue tracker are public. Files were first published on 2023-08-24 and the latest update is 1.0.1 from 2023-08-25.

What the author says
Running out of hunger points behaves the same as in easy mode, which means the player loses health until the health bar is half full.
