Hot Water Plus is a Forge food mod that lets players boil water in a puddle and cook or dissolve items in it, with a Superheated Lava variant added for the same purpose.
What it does
Hot Water Plus is a fork of the Hot Water Mod for Minecraft 1.12.2, produced by nino and built on the work of TheP2WKing and SoraZodis. The author notes say the fork was made because the earlier library dependency was judged too much for a mod of this size, so the code keeps its own structure. Only Forge is supported and the single release, 1.0.0, targets 1.12.2 only.
Boiling a puddle of hot water makes food regenerate more health when eaten. Items thrown onto the floor sink into hot liquids, and the mod can cook food in boiling water as a fuel-free alternative to a furnace. Superheated Lava, a second liquid, dissolves blocks and can be set up through CraftTweaker scripts for custom processing. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source.
