FabricNeoForgeClient-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.4 – 26.2

What it does

Installation is client only: the server does not need the mod, and players can join without it. Files exist for Fabric and NeoForge, and the mod depends on IbukiGourd, which must be installed alongside it on both loaders. Builds cover 1.21.4 – 26.2 across five release versions, with 4.0.0+alpha for 26.2 as the latest file, released on 2026-10-04 on the alpha channel. The code is under the MIT License and is open source.

The mod covers several small areas of play. Dropped items show their details and experience value above them, while primed TNT and creepers display fuse timers. A gamma override brightens the world without a shader pack, and barrier light markers, text obfuscation and the scoreboard sidebar can be switched off. The author notes say the render pipeline is Iris-compatible and that the mod's world textures share the shader toggle key.

Hotkeys drive an auto replant feature for wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot and nether wart, which replants crops from the inventory on the next tick. A radial menu and a tabbed settings screen collect the hotkeys for actions, firework quick-use and camera switching. Hotkeys are unbound by default, and the settings screen records each choice.

Key features

  1. Item editor

A GUI-based editor for items, opened from the client without commands.

  2. Auto replant

Breaking a mature crop replants it from the inventory on the next tick.

  3. Dropped item details

Item names and details appear above dropped items, with the experience value shown above experience orbs.

  4. Fuse and gamma overlays

Fuse timers and progress bars appear on primed TNT and swelling creepers, and gamma can be overridden without a shader pack.

  5. Radial menus and hotkeys

Radial menus group actions, firework use and camera switches, and each feature has its own hotkey left unbound by default.

Yes. IbukiGourd is a required dependency and must be installed next to hiirosakura on Fabric or NeoForge.

Does a server need hiirosakura installed?

What the author says

HiiroSakura is a client-side enhancement mod: it adds no new blocks or items, and instead smooths out dozens of small annoyances in vanilla — read what an item really is at a glance, open a whole row of doors with one click, or bind your routine actions to a hotkey or a radial menu. Everything runs on your client…
