Hextech Lib
by ren-zaifei
Hextech Lib is a NeoForge library for 1.21.1 that provides the framework for choosing buffs after completing objectives, in the style of a roguelike run.
What it does
Hextech Lib gives the game a roguelike-style progression layer. After a player completes a set objective, three buffs are offered and one of them is chosen to apply for the rest of the run. The idea was taken from the ARAM mode of League of Legends, and the library was written while the author worked on a modpack that needed this behavior.
The buffs are grouped into four built-in loot pools, which represent rarity and power level. Hextech enhancements are the upgrades a player can receive from these pools, and the abilities they grant are defined by the library itself. Other mods can build on that structure, since the library is the part that does the selecting and tracking.
Hextech Lib runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is released for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, with the latest file 1.1.5 published on 2026-03-09 and the first release on 2025-11-24. The library is under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker.

What the author says
This mod was inspired by League's ARAM, and since I was working on a modpack anyway, I ended up writing this library to support it.
